Chubby & Toby have been at the Maltese, French Poodle & Yorkie Rescue SA kennels since 2023.
While so many others have gone home… these two best friends are still waiting. Together.
They are a bonded pair, which means they comfort each other and face the world side-by-side. Keeping bonded dogs together helps them feel safe and adjust more easily to a new home because they already have their trusted companion with them.
At 7 years old, they’re gentle, settled, and ready to love. Older dogs often form deep, loyal bonds with their adopters and are incredibly grateful for a second chance.
Please let 2026 be the year they finally get their forever home.
